Deathwing and Winter Guard progress

Hey folks,

Over the course of the past week or so, I have been chugging through some miniatures. The first item on my list is to finish up a squad of Deathwing Terminators. I am painting these up for a friend of mine, and making a tutorial out of them at the same time. I am really happy to be working on these minis, as I have wanted to paint them since Dark Vengeance was first revealed.

I’ve also been working on some more Reaper Miniatures for my friend, painting the for characters to use in upcoming pathfinder campaigns.

From left to right is Alyn Darksky, Sylena the ice mage, McNevin, and Remus the Firedancer. I plan to finish the mage first, and then work on Remus. I also have quite a few more miniatures after this batch, but I will post about those when I get started on them.

I’ve also been making some steady progress on my Winter Guard for my Khador force. Progress is slow, as I am working on other projects, but I am happy with how they are looking. I am also hard at work with my Ultramarines, and I am confident I will have a full 10 man Tactical Squad finished by the end of this month. I am also working on another Marine, this one, however, is not an Ultramarine.

This is going to be an Art Scale Talos Valcoran, from the Soul Hunter trilogy by Aaron Dembski-Bowden. I am basing this miniature of off this artwork, by Slaine69. I am having a lot of fun converting this guy up, and I think he will look quite nice when he is all finished.
