Warcaster Aurora and Captain Allister Caine
Hey folks,
Here with a quick painting update. I received a commission a few weeks back to paint up two Warcasters from the games Warmachine. The customer wanted a style similar to the paint job seen on the Privateer Press website, and I tried to recreate it, while still having my own style. The first Warcaster is Aurora, from the newest faction, the Convergence of Cyriss. She was a fairly quick mini to paint, and I had a lot of fun with her. The blue glow was a fun treat for me, as I love practicing the glow effects.
She was a small paint to assemble, however, as I pinned every connection point. I did this to make sure she wouldn’t fall apart while I painted her, or while the customer used her in a game. The next Warcaster is from the Cygnar faction, Captain Allister Caine. Caine was fun to do, as I really enjoy painting blue. I am pretty proud of his cloak and the trim, as it was easy to do and came out looking good. I also pinned him to the masonry on the base, along with the magic bullets, for the reasons stated above.
I am really happy with both of these minis, and I am looking forward to painting more from both of these factions. My next commission should be arriving in the next week or so, and features a walking Lord of Skulls! As soon as it arrives, I’ll get some photos up.
Cheers.

Nice glow effects, love to see you paint up more Khador. Whens that going to happen?
Pretty soon! I’ve recently finished a group of Man-O-War shocktroopers, and I will try to get some photos up soon.
