Black Legion Chaos Lord
A quick model I painted up for a good friend who has been with me on a shared hobby journey for nearly a decade! (Times flies, etc.) He converted the model from a Greater Possessed, adding wings and arming him with dual Chainswords, as well as assembling a scenic base. I painted this model over the course of a full day, and I’m very happy with the result.
My friend requested a warm, Deathwing like glow to the model’s torso and I was happy to provide. I base coated the brightest areas with white before glazing multiple thin layers of yellow and orange to build up the glow.
As a fine little side not, the statues head on the base is a 3D print of Sappho, Greek poet, which I find neat.
