Order of Our Martyred Lady Retributor Squad

Adding some fire support to this growing force was an easy choice. The Retributors come with a variety of thematic weapons, all of which fit the Sisters of Battle perfectly. I chose to arm my squad with a pair of Heavy Bolters and Heavy Flamers.

I’ve always loved the colour scheme of The Order of Our Martyred Lady, and I wanted to make sure Sister Superior Novena felt at home within whatever army I eventually assembled. My favorite detail of the squad, and something I’ve begun to really enjoy painting, are the hazard stripes of the chainsword. I like how it gives an early 40k vibe to the model, and the irony of a giant chainsaw sword having some sort of visual warning never fails to amuse me.
