Sergeant Ripper Jackson

Typically, I’m not a big fan of the Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum. They’re a little too modern military for me, and I find them pretty uninteresting. One exception to this is the new Sgt. “Ripper” Jackson, a fantastic Catachan soldier and a wonderfully characteristic model.

She really looks the part of the famous jungle warriors, hefting a Boltgun with muscles to match previous renditions of the Regiment.

The base was a lot of fun too, giving us a glimpse at what a plastic Tyranid Lictor might look like. (One day, one day.) I really enjoyed this as a one-off model, but honestly if the rest of the Catachans look this good when they get a re-release, I may consider a Kill Team of them.
