Genestealers
Genestealers have been a big part of 40k since the first edition, although back then they weren’t part of the Tyranid race. Since then they’ve appeared in the cramped halls of Space Hulks and have even been expanded into their own army, the appropriately named Genestealer Cults, which first reappeared in the Deathwatch Overkill set.
I painted these, and the following Genestealer Cult models I’ll be showing off, back in 2016 as part of a commission of the Deathwatch Overkill box set, released the same year. While I was tempted to go for a scheme similar to the Space Hulk Genestealers I did back in 2014, I instead went with a more Rogue Trader inspired look.
