Ultramarines Sternguard Veteran, Vael Donatus
The Deathwatch team has two sons of Guilliman in its ranks, Vael Donatus and Chaplain Cassius, both being fantastic models and my favourite Marines in the set.
I like the simple loadout Vael has, armed with the classic Bolter, and I also enjoy all of his extra details. The icon on his backpack, the roman inspired pteruges, and the golden laurels on his helmet. It helps him stand out, of course, but also makes him unique among his Deathwatch brethren.
